It would have been interesting and easy to have chosen a different Une of thought under the same caption, but, rather than apply myself to more striking, though in reality subordinate, aspects of the subject, I preferred deahng with those broad principles ofeternal and unchangingworth which, by virtue of the fact that they are so universally recognized, in theory at any rate, are only too apt to be disregarded and undervalued in practice.
