Knowledge Shared

At the onset of the twenty-first century, the concept of sharing enjoys little currency among elites and the dominant media; our airwaves, newspapers,
and websites are crammed with stories about the folly and the tragedy of domination, selfishness, and greed. Yet human beings have always shared
with one another, and continue to do so. In every community on the planet, remarkable acts of solidarity and mutual aid enrich and enliven everyday life. Our species is oriented to sustaining the collectivity as well as to meeting our own individual needs.
