Handbook of adult Resilience

This volume represents an attempt to bring together in one place contemporary scholarship on theory, research, and practice emerging from the newly developing concept of resilience. Although foundational work on this concept initially arose from work on childhood and developmental topics, this handbook fully extends the currency of resilience concepts for the first time from basic biological processes through childhood to the domains of youth and adulthood, to broader societal variables in leadership and community-level processes.
