Building a Cisco Network for Windows 2000
Microsoft and Cisco are two of the largest technology vendors in the infor- mation technology industry today. Microsoft’s Windows 2000 is its latest network operating system (NOS), and Cisco is pushing the limits for routing and switching voice, video, and data across internetworks. Beyond this, Microsoft and Cisco have partnered in order to integrate their respec- tive systems using directory enabled networking (DEN). By merging their technologies, Microsoft and Cisco are placing their bets that DEN will lead the future of global internetworking. Now, any organization can take advantage of the benefits that DEN offers through the implementation of a combination Microsoft/Cisco internetwork, using their directory software products.
